I need consumable paint thinner, etc. – I’m not sure.
Buy some paint thinner or other thinner for the rock at Paints & Wax.
I buy the thinner for cleaning and the main thinner in 3.2L cans. Plus a faucet-like thing for it. These are sold at home improvement stores.
I buy the colors for coloring at Yod or Ama since Gaia is now my main color.
Peinto-Wax is a store specializing in paints, and their explanation columns are very helpful.
Here I bought eco-multi thinner (for main use) and
I’m pretty sure I’m going to buy the eco-lacquer thinner (for cleaning).
I’m wondering if I should ask them to buy Rock’s 1-component sarf.
I can’t recommend something if I won’t use it, and I don’t want to have to pay extra shipping costs because I’ll need it later.
The correct product is called 1k Multiplasaf Gray.
Because it dries quickly and cleanly, it quickly unifies the color of the body, which has become mixed with putty and PVC during modeling and is difficult to grasp, into a single gray color.
(When the information of color, which is an obstacle to grasping the shape, is eliminated, it becomes easier to grasp the shape. In short, it is the same story as the ruled lines on the notebooks we saw the other day.
(To take it even further, we can use a dark screen as a background when checking the shape of the object.)
This is the kind of use for which it is best suited.
For surface treatment, the coating film is not thick enough, so it needs to be sprayed in large quantities for applications to even out uneven surfaces, which is time consuming.
Gaia’s Gray EVO Saff is a little thicker, so for the purpose of even out surface irregularities, it is recommended to use Gray EVO Saff.
EVO Saff is superior. Drying speed is lower for shape-finding applications. That’s why I’m not sure.
They both use Rock’s Eco-Multi Thinner for dilution.
The thinner originally contained in Gaia is for models.
That is the reason why it takes a little longer to dry than rock.
I think I’ll use Rock while modeling and switch to EVO when I get closer to surface treatment.
I’m pretty sure the skin tone suff is Gaia.
I’m having a hard time with the gray buff from modeling to surface treatment.
I was going to use only gray EVO next time to see how fast I can work and decide.
